About Liza McLain
As Chief Operating Officer at Moondance Adventures, I help lead the company’s day-to-day operations while guiding our long-term growth and strategy. I oversee our Operations and Technology teams, supporting the design and execution of our global trips and the systems that make them possible. I grew up within Moondance’s Operations team, where I was closely involved in trip design, logistics, and launching many of our internal technology initiatives. After completing a software engineering program, I returned with a deeper technical skill set and now focus on improving how we operate, from internal systems to team workflows, all to better support our staff and students. I’m especially interested in the intersection of people, process, and technology, and in building thoughtful systems that allow meaningful, life-changing experiences to happen for thousands of students each year.
