About Liz Saris

Liz Saris is an accomplished executive with demonstrable ability to provide staff leadership, development and execution of sound business strategies, program performance and contract management oversight, risk assessment, and development and sustainment of new and existing customer relationships. Ms. Saris has managed business operations with revenues of $75M-$300M in the environmental engineering and life sciences, energy, and civil infrastructure markets. Her business development activities, financial control and metrics, combined with her ability to create a culture conducive to aggressive business growth resulted in high performance by all staff. Ms. Saris has successfully directed and contributed to some of the most pressing nuclear security and environmental management programs, including transportation, and the storage treatment and disposition of all nuclear waste types. She has also provided policy analysis and strategic planning for nuclear nonproliferation mission requirements for National Nuclear Safety Administration and for Department of State programs. She is a recognized leader in project planning, project management, and multidisciplinary teams developing solutions for highly visible energy, environmental, and nuclear defense weapons and nonproliferation programs sponsored by the Department of Energy and NNSA. With more than 30 years of professional experience, she is well known in the private and public sectors for her abilities and accomplishments working in infrastructure programs. Ms. Saris has a very robust multidisciplinary professional network including strong relationships with decision-makers at multiple organizational levels in the federal sector, military services, and commercial firms. Currently, Ms. Saris is responsible for the strategy and direction of SAIC’s DOE Account and oversight of DOE programs.

Among key responsibilities are business development and capture management, working across market segments and all internal resources to ensure a continuous stream of new profitable business for the company. Acts as the thought leader for driving strategic growth into the DOE market, with direct line responsibility to the COO of SAIC on all Energy related operations. Ultimately responsible for the operations, finance, personnel performance, business development, strategic growth, and success of the DOE Account for SAIC.
