ABOUT LIZ LEAHY

I am a Massachusetts-licensed attorney with more than a decade of experience shaping legislative and regulatory policy in health care and insurance. As Senior Vice President of Advocacy & Engagement and Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans, I drive strategy and execution across government affairs, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder advocacy on behalf of 13 member health plans serving nearly three million residents of the Commonwealth.I hold a J.D. from New England Law | Boston and a B.A. from Merrimack College, and have completed executive leadership programs at Simmons University and Harvard Business School. In 2023, I was recognized as one of Boston’s Future Leaders by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. I also serve on several advisory and nonprofit boards focused on health policy, public service, and advancing women in leadership.Beyond policy, I co-own Time & Materials Beer Company, a small craft brewery my husband and I founded to highlight local ingredients and build community through beer.
