1989, Liz Harden has dedicated all aspects of her career to addictions treatment - including in-depth work with recovering healthcare professionals and award-winning specialty programs for women and people with co-occurring psychiatric illnesses. As the first female and clinically licensed Chief Operating Officer of DACCO (20••••14), Liz\'s leadership helped propel the $18M Tampa agency into modern healthcare integration, converting DACCO from a \"community-based drug treatment center,\" into an integral component of Tampa\'s healthcare network for all citizens. Liz\'s passion and energy is born from her own family history of alcoholism. Having walked in the shoes of despair and hopelessness, watching family members dying from the disease, unwilling to seek treatment, Liz became a trusted guide for those in similar circumstances, assisting loved-ones with court-involved involuntary treatment.BoardPrep (2014): Having witnessed firsthand the limitations and stigmatizing effects of hospital-based and institutional approaches, John and Liz began BoardPrep with the simple mission of providing the most engaging and effective treatment possible, using the latest knowledge and technology available for addiction treatment. BoardPrep\'s innovative approach assures each patient directly benefits from John and Liz\'s combined 55 years of experience throughout the treatment process. Beginning with a comprehensive assessment, treatment plans are customized for each person, addressing the complex interplay of physical, psychiatric, motivational, environmental and spiritual challenges.BoardPrep began receiving patients on July 7th and became fully accredited by the Joint Commission on August 22nd, 2014.
