I’m an experienced communications specialist, journalist, coach and media trainer, helping a wide range of organisations perfect and articulate their story. I began my working career as a newspaper reporter before moving into broadcast news production and political programming at the BBC. That combination of experience means I now work collaboratively with my clients to help them develop their narrative, before we stress test the message and its delivery. I focus on giving effective, supportive and inclusive feedback. I use my skills as an experienced journalist and qualified coach to ensure a positive client experience. I want everyone I work with to feel confident and happy to face their event, face an audience or deal with the toughest questions. It’s not just about having the ‘right’ answer. It’s about using the opportunity to achieve great outcomes for your organisation. I\'m also an experienced content creator having worked in the news, political and corporate production environments. I love working with companies to support their messaging through internal and external comms, digital content, media appearances, effective stakeholder engagement and robust regulatory appearances. I specialise in making sure that message is heard with clarity and impact. Our training sessions illustrate how the contemporary media works - Coherent Comms will provide insights into how to understand the engagement, manage the environment and perfect your performance when you are interviewed on the TV or radio or for digital content. This is important because of the prolific nature of news and information, the fast moving business of the modern media and the damage that can be caused if you get it wrong.
