About Liz Freeman Rosenzweig
Biology Ph.D. turned attorney. Then BigLaw patent associate turned startup in-house counsel. AgTech and genetic engineering nerd the whole time. I love helping get inventions out of the lab and into the world.I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Biology at Stanford University, where I studied plant cell and molecular biology, focusing on the carbon concentrating mechanism in green algae in the lab of Dr. Martin Jonikas (then at the Carnegie Institution, now at Princeton). I then hopped across the Bay and obtained my J.D. at Berkeley Law, where I focused on intellectual property and technology law. I am registered to practice law in California and as a patent attorney before the USPTO.
