ABOUT LIZ CARBONE

An experienced public relations and corporate communications professional, I am a senior vice president at FleishmanHillard with significant reputation management and brand marketing experience. Most recently, I have worked with clients in sports, food & beverage, technology, consumer goods, supply chain, insurance and not-for-profit. Previously, I was on the True Value corporate communications team, where I served as a communications partner to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer and also supported the paint manufacturing team. In these roles I managed a range of internal, issues-based initiatives including supply chain upgrades, retrofitting distribution centers, introducing new paint branding and extreme weather condition alerts. I also produced internal weekly videos featuring executive leadership that I wrote, shot and edited. Before joining True Value I co-led the global public relations program for Sidley Austin LLP, a major law firm with 1,900 lawyers in 20 offices worldwide. I was responsible for overseeing the West Coast public relations program, which included managing a PR agency team. I was also the PR contact for lawyers interested in publishing, and helped secure and publish more than 50 bylines in three years. Prior to True Value, I was an account supervisor at Edelman, the world\'s largest public relations agency, where I worked in corporate communications on accounts for companies across several industries, with a focus on retail. Former clients include Darden Restaurants, Roundy\'s Supermarkets (Mariano\'s), Hillshire Brands, Accretive Health, Microsoft, Macerich, ScottsMiracle-Gro, The McCormick Foundation, True Value Company, Harley-Davidson, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), Leo Burnett and Whirlpool.
