I\'m a multi-hyphenate storyteller (writer/director/producer/actor) who excels at compartmentalizing - and juggling! I truly believe in the transformative power of art and am very passionate about telling diverse stories that make people laugh, cry, think and feel. A former journalist, I was born in Chicago, am based in Los Angeles, and consider Texas home, where I was raised by my Hispanic father, who immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico City, and my Irish-American mother from the East Coast. I love traveling and enjoy being a filmmaking panelist, mentor, guest speaker and film festival juror. Safier Entertainment is the international sales agent. Logline: After spoiled city girl Sloane Emerson gets in trouble yet again, her wealthy parents send her off to the country. There, the rebellious teen ends up forming a bond with the last thing in the world she would\'ve thought - a horse.
