ABOUT LIZ BUKH

Hi there! I am Liz, a freshman at Syracuse University. I’m a Public Relations major with a strong passion for storytelling, media, and creative strategy. I’m especially interested in how social media can shape public perception and build meaningful connections.I currently work as a photographer for Baked Magazine, where I capture visually engaging content. Through this role, I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail, strong visual storytelling skills, and experience creating content that resonates with audiences.I’m also a Hill Communications freshman intern, gaining hands-on experience in communications, media relations, and strategic messaging while learning how professional communication teams operate behind the scenes.In addition, I serve as the Social Media Manager for WJPZ Radio’s Red Carpet Report, where I create and manage content, promote live shows, and help grow audience engagement across platforms. I’m also a disc jockey at WJPZ, which has strengthened my on-air communication skills, confidence, and ability to think creatively in fast-paced, live environments.Outside of media and communications, I volunteer at a Coach Mac\'s Food Pantry located in Hendricks Chapel, where I help support community members in need. Giving back is important to me, and I believe strong public relations is rooted in service, empathy, and ethical communication.I’m eager to continue growing my experience in public relations, media, and creative strategy while contributing creativity and a strong work ethic to every opportunity.
