Directing a diverse portfolio of high and low-stake assessment research projects using mixed methods, ensuring they meet set objectives, standards, timelines, and budgets. Collaborating closely with teams across Pearson, UK secondary schools, external NGOs, and US and UK universities, I generate insightful research, effectively communicate results, and leverage these findings to enhance Pearson\'s qualifications and reputation.I developed leadership skills by managing early career researchers, leading cross-team AI and other research projects, and completing the accelerated leadership programme at Pearson.Research Highlights:1.Process Data Project (2024-25, Managing Research Budget): Leading research into how students’ interactions with assessments: editing, time spent, and word count, affect IG results in 2023 and 2024, using LASSO and MLR models. 2.Onscreen Marker Trialling (2023-24, Managed Research Budget): Co-leading a study comparing onscreen and paper marking reliability for International GCSE English Language, using experiments and question-level analysis, plus surveys and interviews to improve marking consistency and support onscreen adoption.3.Modified Papers Project (2022-24, Manged Research Budget): Directing a mixed-methods study on the use of large print and interactive PDF exams in UK schools, using historical analysis, surveys, interviews, and direct mock exams observations to inform future paper designs. Published a final report, co-authored five SEND case studies, and helped the training of 2,600+ exam officers from UK and International schools by April 2024, with the support from over nine teams across Pearson.4.TIMSS 2019 Equivalence Study (2022-24): Leading research on how computer- and paper-based tests (CBT vs PBT) impact Year 9 maths scores in England, collaborating with experts and using IRT and descriptive analysis to understand differences at the item level.
