About Liv Moe
With a commitment to fostering cultural diversity and experimental art, my leadership at Verge Center for the Arts has been pivotal in transforming the Sacramento arts scene. Overseeing operations for 31 studios and numerous annual exhibitions, our team has elevated the platform for emerging artists and nontraditional practices, ensuring art remains a dynamic and accessible dialogue. My expertise in curating and promoting contemporary art is complemented by my roles in higher education. At Verge, we have successfully transitioned to a non-profit model, securing essential funding and partnerships that have fortified our mission to educate and inspire through the power of art. In addition to establishing a non-profit, I lead the team in acquiring and renovating Verge\'s S Street location. Before joining Verge I published and edited Midtown Monthly, a monthly magazine dedicated to Sacramento\'s cultural community focusing on the arts, local history, live music, and food. I began my career as Operations Manager at the Crest Theatre overseeing countless live events and public programs including film festivals, concerts, live performances, and day to day operations for seat venue.
