ABOUT LIVIU FLOREA
Liviu Florea is Professor of management and international business at Washburn University. He received his Ph.D. from the College of Business at the University of Missouri in 2007. He also holds a M.B.A. from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a doctoral degree in engineering from Transilvania University in Brasov, Romania.Liviu\'s research interests are teamwork, diversity, sustainability, satisfaction, performance, and related areas of Organizational Behavior, Cross-Cultural Management and Human Resource Management. He studies the influence of values, personality, motivation and culture on management practices, individual performance and organizational sustainability. He maintains an active research program involving these and several related themes with the goals of publishing important research findings in top-tier journals. He is also in the process of building a research agenda that focuses on less-than-rational decision-making in short-lived and non-acquaintance conditions. His research has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and the Best Paper Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management.
