ABOUT LIV S
Social worker with a Bachelor of Arts Undergraduate degree in Philosophy obtained from the University of Nottingham in 2022, and gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work from Lancaster University via the Frontline Organisation in 2023. I am currently employed by Essex County Council and my first role was within the long-term Family Support and Protection Team from 20••••24. This role gave me skills in risk management andworking under high pressure in constantly changing circumstances, supporting children subject to assessment, CIN/CP/PLO planning, and entering the Court Arena in both public and private proceedings. I then completed a year working in the Family Centre based in West Essex, focussed on Specialist Parenting Assessments for PLO and Court arena, and offering different support groups and bespoke direct work to children and families. I trained in AIM Assessment (Assessment, Intervention and Moving on) for assessing children that exhibit harmful sexual behaviour, and ParentAssess, the framework used for assessing parents with a Learning Disability during this time. I have now returned to FS & P to gain more frontline experience. Alongside my own caseload, I am now the deputy consultant social worker; supporting to oversee / mentor and develop a hub of 5 student social workers, via the frontline organisation.
