This role was a fixed-term 9 month maternity contract supporting the R&D function within a transformative period of high growth and vast change within the exec team. I played a pivotal role in shaping the R&D function at Slice by partnering with the CTO and the R&D leadership team to develop the people strategy, evolve performance management and introduce maintable effective people practices. Notable achievements: • Led the design of a global compensation strategy, ensuring equitable pay across the R&D group. • Developed a fair promotion program for the Balkans call-center team, enhancing career progression. • Delivered impactful training sessions to upskill people managers on performance management best practices.* Led on complex ER relations; disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, redundancies and legal negotiations in partnership with external counsel.*In collaboration with the leadership team created a matrixed career performance framework to boost performance and guide development*Designed and led quarterly performance cycles to create a culture of feedback and continuous development*Coached senior leaders on decision making; leadership effectiveness and risk* Guided department re-structures partnering with the CTO* Ensured Slice was legally compliant within the UK; policies, processes and people management practices
