About Liv Barefoot
I am and always have been very passionate about human rights, justice, and equity for marginalized folks who have been dehumanized, othered, and faced with inequity. Thus, my aspiration in life is to fight for basic rights and civil liberties as a civil/human rights advocate or attorney; I ultimately want to leave a positive change in the world. Likewise, I strive to uphold my integrity and values in everything I do—ranging from amplifying the voices of students in my Student Government leadership positions, advocating for voting rights as a Voting Research Assistant, connecting communities as the ASG liaison for my campus, helping to edit and publish our premier Human Rights Journal called Dignity, and more.
