Manages the NPHM Oral History Archive-Creates, develops and documents creative, innovative, and strategic plans forthe Archive and the oral history training program (the “Oral History Collective”),including ethics and aesthetics, timelines, budgets, and quality standards-Creates and oversees efficient post-production processing of oral histories;manages oral history database-Co-curates-writes and -edits Out of the Archives oral history podcast andother public oral history programming with the Programming Team-Facilitates Focus Groups and other community engagement with publichousing residents, archivists, and digital storytellers about the userinterface, user experience, and design of the Public-facing Archive-Collaborates with exhibition design team about visitor access of the physicalArchive and other creative avenues of interaction with the Archive-Reviews and vets access requests of the Archive-Provides organizational and research support for and/or leads presentations,displays and exhibitions about NPHM programming-Cultivates collaborations with creators, colleagues, community organizers,and other interested parties through trainings, events, and conferences.Manages the NPHM Oral History Collective-Creates, develops, and executes 10 week training program, “The BeautyTurner Academy of Oral History” with 15-20 intergenerational participantswho have personal connections to public housing. Creates, develops, andexecutes additional Beauty Turner Academy apprenticeships in Fall–Spring-Mentors graduates of Beauty Turner Academy for long-term careerdevelopment, including negotiating positions and contracts for work in theNPHM oral history programs-Supervises training, evaluation, and performance management ofcontractors working in the archive and workforce training program-Project manager for OHA/NEH mini-grant project, “Narrating through theCarceral Divide.”
