About Michael Lissack
Dr. Lissack is the Executive Director of the Second Order Science Foundation, the immediate past (20••••20) President of the American Society for Cybernetics (ASC), the executive director emeritus of the Institute for the Study of Coherence and Emergence (ISCE) and Professor of Design and Innovation at Tongji University (Shanghai). He is a member of the International Academy for Systems and the Cybernetic Sciences. Worth Magazine recognized Dr. Lissack as one of \"Wall Street\'s 25 Smartest Players\" in and as one of the 100 Americans who have most influenced \"how we think about money\" in 2001. His most recent invention - an Internet research reference librarian replacement can be found at http://epi-search.com. Since 1995, he founded a non-profit research institute, launched an international Ph.D. program in corporate anthropology, wrote a half dozen books, and twice been a candidate for public office. Dr. Lissack is a recognized expert in the qualitative side of complex systems management including applied cognitive science and applied philosophy. He is also a master public speaker and educator.
