Positioned in a strategic, senior leadership role, I lead the Sword UK Data & AI practice. This is an incredibly diverse role which is made up of many projects and responsibilities including: • Directing the performance of a department of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts • Accountable for the seamless delivery of high-quality service provisions • Leading Technical Consultants to design and deliver cutting edge cloud-based solutions • Maintaining high visibility with the Sales team as a support, guide and operational consultant • Providing consultancy services spanning data modernisation • Providing guidance for target operating models across multiple sectors (Financial Services, Retail, Pensions, Marketing, Public Sector, Oil & Gas, Energy). • Supporting the Sales team by leading bid submissions and attending client visits • Tasked with designing and delivering impactful workshops • Securing a high-profile client portfolio valued from 5 zeros to multi-million-pound contracts • Implementing the data strategy • Delivered the Target Operating Model within fast-paced working environments • Transforming the business culture by promoting data-led decision-making • Optimising the data culture and service infrastructure by integrating emerging technologies. • Nurtured a strategic partnership with Microsoft • Positioned as the subject matter expert in modern data platforms • Led a new end to end service and leading the data maturity roadmap, successfully expanding the client portfolio with a revised strategy and consultative approach • Fostering strong partnerships with senior stakeholders • Delivering strategic insights to Executive Management as well as operational IT Development teams. • Leading customer interactions with presentations, live demonstrations, and pre-recorded demos.
