I am transitioning into the counseling and mental health field through the Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin–Superior. My areas of study and professional interest include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and holistic mind–body approaches.My professional background in leadership and Information Technology has equipped me with transferable strengths in communication, empathy, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving. I am eager to integrate these skills into clinical practice as I advance my education and gain direct experience in counseling settings.My long-term goal is to serve clients through trauma-informed, collaborative, and compassionate care that empowers growth and resilience.
