Started in a hybrid capacity as a Talent Acquisition Partner and HRBP for two years. Transitioned full-time into the HRBP role; responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the Life division. Serve as a back-up HRBP for the RSD division. Key Duties: • Coach, counsel and advise management on goal setting, performance management, and employee relations issues. Act as an employee champion and change agent. • Coordinate closely with OneHR on different aspects that effect both employees and managers. • Help ensure appropriate mix of talent is hired, with skills that are grown overtime. • Build strong relationships with internal networks and clients; understanding of client’s short-term and long-term business goals, organizational structure, and processes. • Identify training and development needs of managers and employees and facilitate team building events. • Demonstrate HR Vision, Mission, and Values and seek opportunities to add value. • Champion and advocate the value of HR initiatives to the business. Communicate and advocate the businesses\' challenges and perspective to HR to achieve greater understanding towards providing the right solutions and/or initiatives. • Participate in HR and business related project work and champion change when necessary. • Incorporate best practices in the workplace and work on helping to improve processes where needed
