Supervise all Food & Beverage (F&B) personnel. Lead by example keeping a positive attitude while moving property wide; smiling and being attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner. Prepare and disperse F&B schedule and budget on regular basis. Monitor department performance and labor with respect to the same. Perform any necessary follow-up and adjustments, including trimming staff and forecasting. Responsible for advance and/or up-to-the-minute planning and flawless execution of private and public events, while being willing and able to pivot with unexpected changes in plans. Coordinate and monitor all phases of loss prevention in the F&B department. Prepare and submit required reports and disperse employee tips quickly and accurately. Monitor, adjust and approve staff time cards using electronic tracking systems. Oversee operations of employee cafeteria. Ensure compliance of hotel food outlets with all local, state & federal food and alcohol safety laws, regulations and guidelines. Hire, counsel, coach, train and mentor staff. Organize and conduct department meetings on a regular basis. Monitor quality of service and product. Assist with menu design, planning and preparation for multiple outlets, holidays and special events. Design and print flyers and menus to promote business on and off property. Ensure timely purchase of F&B items, within budget allocation.
