Actor | Writer | Producer SAG-AFTRA actor known for portraying intelligent, emotionally layered women with a sharp comedic edge. My work often lives where humor and heartbreak collide, characters who are observant, grounded, and sometimes even dangerous. I’m drawn to the absurdity in the moments where we probably shouldn’t be laughing.but do. Recent screen work includes appearances on Utopia, Chicago PD, The Mob Doctor, and the indie feature Laundromat. I was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Side Effects (dir. José Mutarelli). In addition to acting, I produce and develop projects that explore identity, caregiving, and the absurdity of modern life, including a dark comedy series currently in development. Past creative work includes producing the award-winning short My Best Nut, writing the theme song Still for NAMI and Lifetime’s mental health series It’s Time, and mentoring actors internationally through Accademia Artisti in Rome. Also available for location consulting and production coordination throughout the Chicagoland area.

Her television roles have included predatory tech exec, Nora Harrington on NBC’s Chicago PD, as well as co-starring roles on Amazon\'s Utopia, NBC’s Chicago PD and Fox’s The Mob Doctor. She stars in indie film, Laundromat, as well as in SAG Short film Utility for which she is also the writer and AD. Roti, a former professional ballet dancer, started appearing in television as a dance instructor to Jeremy Piven in Fox’s Cupid. In 2016, Lisa’s multi-faceted performance career took off with the release of her first Jazz CD, being named the television spokesperson for Heifer International and joining an impressive list of American artists as ambassadors for President Obama’s Strong Initiative in Beijing.In addition to her role as Producer and Casting Director with Fork the Man Productions, Roti currently works as VP of Marketing for CircleIt where her focus is multi-media content utilizing her extensive production, screen-writing and on-camera experience.
