ABOUT LISANNE FELLINGER
At the start of my career as a neuroscientist, researching treatment-resistant depression, I saw and experienced that repeated exposure to trauma changes the nervous system, and how little infrastructure exists to support the people carrying that weight inside our institutions. I stepped away from the field due to moral injury from the constraints of my job as a researcher.Today, as Co-Founder & CTO of Recess, I believe that scientific insights should not just remain in labs but be applied in ways that truly benefit people. I focus on trauma exposure in healthcare, education, and public safety workforces, building systems that help organizations detect overload early and stabilize teams before it becomes turnover, incidents, and loss of trust.
