Lead, supervise, and manage faculty librarians and library staff. Collaborate with faculty librarians to develop and manage the Library and its materials budget. Plan and manage the operational effectiveness and strategic direction of the Library. Work with librarians, Information Technology Services, College Administration, and faculty to determine the future of the Library and reinvigorate its services and spaces. Develop active partnerships with students, faculty, staff, The Friends of the Library, and other members of the Eckerd College Community to ensure the library collections and services meet user needs. Serve on and support internal and external committees, task forces, and consortia. Serve as the Librarian for the Letters Consortium. Promote information literacy through instructional and reference services. Teach in the senior general education course rotation. Represent the Library nationally and within the state through professional organizations. Maintain a research agenda for presentations at conferences and publication. Additional responsibilities as required.
