Following graduation, she immediately put her marketing degree into action in roles with the Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd. and SaskTel. While also leading unique product development and market expansion initiatives, and participating as a member of the Holdco Strategic Planning Committee at SaskTel, Lisa took on roles of increasing accountability in both marketing and sales before being appointed to the role of Vice President of Marketing for Navigata Communications in Vancouver. In January of 2005, Lisa returned to SaskTel in Regina. Here she led SaskTel’s voice over IP trials with the Provincial Government, led the south Saskatchewan business sales team and later helped create and launch SaskTel’s ICT division. In 2015, Lisa left the telecom industry to build the sales and marketing team and open Regina’s new Mosaic Stadium as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited. As an executive team member at the University of Regina with responsibility for the University’s Advancement and Communications team, Lisa was responsible for the University’s institutional marketing and communications strategies, media relations, fundraising and development efforts, and alumni and stakeholder/government relations strategies and programming.Lisa’s experience crosses multiple industries in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors, involves the leadership of teams that range from 10 to 134 people, and encompasses a breadth of experience from business growth, market expansion, project leadership and business transformation initiatives to brand management, sales operations, fund development and partner/supplier management. She is an active board member, community volunteer, and an avid sports fan.
