In this role, I support the development and implementation of interventions to address various modifiable risk factors for cancer within Alberta workplaces. I previously supported a multi-component project to reduce tobacco use in a northern, industry-focused workplace and am currently collaborating with our team to develop and implement an intervention to reduce sedentary behaviour among desk-based employees. I facilitate bi-weekly team meetings with research, evaluation, and implementation specialists, conduct environmental scans as needed, support workplace recruitment, and provide ongoing support for participating workplaces to implement the interventions.
