   Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of the organization\'s benefit programs, policies, and procedures for Internal Staff and Associate populations, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, HSA, FSA, and other ancillary benefits. • Administers 401(k) Plan; serves as the main point of contact for all related vendors, annual reviews/reports, compliance, and communications. • Develops and administers all Leave of Absence (LOA) programs, including ADA programs, on behalf of the company to ensure compliance, required communication, tracking, collection of benefit premium payments, and coordination with the Employee/Manager/Payroll/HR is properly executed. • Responsible for company compliance with provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) via research, reporting, auditing, and collaborating with internal/external department and supplier contacts. • Provides strategic leadership, project management, compliance adherence, and support for all company benefits for Internal Staff and Associate workforce. • Manages the yearly and ongoing benefits enrollment, including but not limited to annual open enrollment, and new hire eligibility periods. • Leads the development of communication strategies and delivery for clear understanding of benefit plan provisions to employees and executive management. • Ensures all benefit carriers and vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner. Handles reconciliation of invoices and processes adjustments as needed; provides monthly g/l code breakdown and submits to Accounting Team for payment. Audits ongoing enrollment to ensure accuracy. • Serves as Subject-Matter-Expert for State and Federal laws pertaining to benefits and leaves of absence, reviews and analyzes related changes pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management accordingly.
