BIO:As Sr. Director, Commodity Purchasing, I have overall responsibility for front office commodity systems, including identifying, and maintaining sophisticated applications, forecasting tools, and statistical modeling systems that support decision-making activities. In this role, I work closely with middle and back office staff in developing overall systems strategy.In addition, I lead a team of analysts who perform fundamental and technical research for feed ingredients, food ingredients, and energy as well as identify and report on industry trends.I joined the Tyson Foods Information Systems department in 2005 and moved to Commodity Purchasing in 2008. Prior to joining Tyson Foods, I was involved in Organizational Change and Training activities at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. I have a Bachelor of Science in business education from the University of Arkansas.
