The Storytellers Collective offers exclusive access to the narrative nonfiction expertise of National Geographic Storytelling Explorers. Designed to foster a new generation of storytellers who can spotlight overlooked but urgent challenges in a rapidly changing world, the Storytellers Collective will leverage an invaluable asset: the skill of NG Explorers—scientists, journalists, and conservationists who focus the power of story into positive action. Teaching the invaluable lessons of a century-plus of National Geographic’s narrative leadership, the Storytellers Collective will deploy in-person, Explorer-led, hands-on workshops to teach storytelling skills using participant-provided live content. Our target audiences— academia, non-profits, and affinity for-profits—know they need to tell better stories to advance their urgent missions. With valuable one-on-one feedback and guidance on creating story and engagement, the Storytellers Collective can deliver the unique NGS perspective on ethically and effectively creating stories with impact.
