ABOUT LISA WALKER

I am a seasoned leader with 20 years of experience in health, education, digital innovation, and youth engagement at national and local levels. As the principal of Innovating Impact LLC, I support leaders from startups, nonprofits, and tech companies on inclusive co-design, strategic planning, market analysis, and special projects. My work focuses on youth mental health and digital wellbeing, with an emphasis on supporting initiatives that work to transform inequitable systems.From 20••••23, I held leadership positions focused on program strategy, impact, and innovation at Peer Health Exchange. As VP of Digital Impact, I guided the organization’s digital strategy, and led the development and implementation of selfsea, a youth co-designed digital mental health product that has reached hundreds of thousands of young people. 76% of users of the selfsea mobile app reported decreased loneliness, and the app was recognized by Fast Company in the best app and game design category for 2023.I am passionate about creating safe, ethical, and engaging experiences with and for young people. I thrive on innovation, continuous improvement, and leading through complex organizational change. I am also an empathetic leader and effective communicator, skilled at cultivating individual and team excellence. My goal is to support young people to lead as they make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing, and to transform the inequitable systems that affect them.
