Project manager and consultant with a 6-year track record of working in Turkey and Germany on foreign policy, socio-economic justice and human rights in partnership with EU/German institutions and civil society organisations, including the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik and the Robert Bosch Foundation. I conduct expert analyses on a range of issues including business developments, gender inequality, and corruption risk in Turkey and financial markets in the Arab world. Most recently I worked as a Research Associate on Turkey for the Hertie School of Governance. Previously I have worked as a Project Manager at Istanbul Policy Center and as the Business Development Director for a social enterprise fostering women’s financial independence and sustainable development in the South-Caucasus. Responsible for fundraising and campaigning, I succeeded in gaining support by international organizations, such as UNDP and the European Commission. Having organised a considerable number of conferences and workshops, I benefit from an extensive network of key actors in European and Turkish institutions, as well as the media, academia, civil society, and the business world. Owing to my extensive experience abroad I am well-versed in international relations and intercultural communication.
