Draft policies and procedures and lead partnership development for NYC’s municipal ID program, used by over 1.4 million New Yorkers.Responsibilities: Create and implement policies and procedures to support the mission of providing government ID for all.Initiate, develop, and manage relationships with other city agencies, private and public partners, organizations and businesses to expand IDNYC’s footprint throughout NYC and maximize the benefits and discounts offered to municipal ID cardholders. Negotiate, draft, and finalize Memoranda of Understanding and other agreements with program partners as primary liaison to agency contract attorneys. Research, explore, and resolve legal questions and issues related to the laws, executive orders, and rules governing the program as they relate to program policy in consultation and collaboration with legal, privacy, and integrity departments. Draft and compile quarterly reports for submission to NYC Mayor, City Council, and Commissioners Offices. Supervise Policy team members who assist with all efforts related to these portfolios.Update website content to comply with continuously changing policies and programs.Accomplishments:Increased utility of program by developing multiple new partnerships with private sector and cultural organizations.Expanded enrollment to underserved populations, including immigrants and public school students.Designed and managed programmatic changes during the COVID crisis including production of reopening and outreach procedures.Expanded IDNYC’s online utility by optimizing its online portal and operationalizing procedures.Developed cross-promotional materials to increase utility of IDNYC and availability of affordable housing with the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
