Bilingual Debate Judge @New York City Urban Debate League

Serve as a volunteer virtual judge for the New York City Urban Debate League (NYCUDL), which began virtual debates during the 2019 Corona virus pandemic. NYCUDL creates equitable access to academic debate opportunities - focusing on students of color and historically underserved communities. Ajudicated public forum and parliamentary (parli) debates for high school debate-scholars in the New York metropolitan area. Ajudication assessments included concrete points regarding maverick and team debater\'s organization, timeliness and responses. Wrote constructive, motivational summaries to scholars for future debates. These debaters are empowered to be the next generation of diverse, informed and courageous leaders. It is an HONOR to work with such brilliant, voluntarily aware students poised to impact our world - positively!
