About Lisa Mitchell

Before earning my MBA at Columbia Business School in 2009, I held sales and marketing roles at Research In Motion (BlackBerry), where I gained firsthand experience in scaling technology products and partnerships on a global stage. After completing my MBA, I joined Revolution Golf as Chief Operating Officer, helping scale the company into the premier digital platform for golf learning. Following its 2017 acquisition by NBC Sports, I served as Senior Director at Golf Channel, guiding integration efforts and expanding the mission of connecting the world to golf through innovative digital and lifestyle offerings.In recent years, I’ve devoted my energy primarily to board service. I serve on the Board of Directors (Secretary) for the National Links Trust, where municipal golf is used as a tool for strengthening communities. I also spent three years on the Long Ridge School Board, and two years leading the Parents Association, and since 2019 I’ve been actively involved at King School as a grade representative and supporter of school programs. Through the Outpost Foundation, I help award scholarships to students pursuing careers in the golf industry, opening doors for the next generation of leaders. My most recent passion project is GriefBowls.com, a company I founded that uses art, not profit, for healing. Above all of these roles, my most important and rewarding work is raising my two sons and guiding them to grow into kind, grounded, and good people.
