I’ve worked in the NHS for over 20 years; in Acute hospital, Community settings, Commissioning for whole populations and managing in General Practice. This has helped to develop a broad knowledge of the whole system which is where Primary Care needs to sit - at the heart of healthcare. At scale and networking should allow Practice staff to work to their strengths rather than duplicate effort in separate businesses.
