About Lisa Diaz Nash
Dear Friends, Colleagues and Neighbors,After a career as a senior marketing executive, nonprofit leader and social entrepreneur, I am focused on giving back to my local community, San Mateo, California. San Mateo is now the largest city on the Peninsula. As we continue to grow, we want to be a diverse, inclusive community made up of unique, thriving neighborhoods, robust businesses and a great quality of life. We have many challenges to face, and we must face them together. I was elected in November, 2022 as the first San Mateo City Council Member from District 1, the northwest section of our City, and selected by my fellow Council Members as Deputy Mayor. Local government is where people see how government can improve their quality of life and strengthen our community as a whole. I will work with my fellow Council Members, and always listen to our community, so that San Mateo\'s future is strong and one of opportunity for all.
