I work on DEI specifically within British Army recruitment, helping ensure the people joining the Army reflect the society it serves and that opportunity genuinely feels open to all.I am a DEI and people consultant specialising in equity, diversity and inclusion in recruitment, with a focus on practical, credible approaches that land with candidates, recruiters and decision-makers. My work sits at the intersection of policy, lived experience and real-world recruiting pressures, where good intentions need to translate into fair outcomes.Alongside my Army work, I am a People Consultant at 71a and Volunteer Lead for Gloucestershire Rugby Football Union. I am also a rugby coach, which means I value teamwork, straight talking and fairness, and I have little patience for anything that looks good on paper but does not work in practice.I care deeply about inclusion done properly. Evidence-based, human and grounded in reality rather than buzzwords.
