Managing the Business Solutions department in Acumen, my team and I can assist with any aspect of the day to day running of businesses, providing a tailored outsourced offering to a variety of clients of all types and size. Our payroll bureau handles all payrolls processes for over 100 clients and our book-keeping bureau provides a bespoke service to clients either in their offices or ours; catering for any level of book-keeping requirement from invoicing, credit control, Vat returns etc. Acumen is also a Sage Accredited Business Partner and our Sage Consultancy can offer advice, installation, training and support in a variety of the Sage programmes.

I became a Director of Acumen in April 2010. My main areas of specialism and responsibility are looking after the Outsourcing and Sage aspects of the business.My team and I can provide a tailored solution for businesses that wish to outsource their payroll/bookkeeping function.I have been heavily involved with the Sage Software range since 1993 and has assisted a large variety of clients over the years to maximise the use of Sage in their businesses. Acumen was the first company in the North-east to become accredited as a Sage Business Partner and we have invested over to become a Sage 200 Accredited Business Partner.
