About Lisa Bowman

I provide strategic and practical advice to companies grappling with a tangle of constantly evolving employment laws. I partner with companies large and small to refine their practices and navigate complicated employment laws and regulations, with a goal of limiting liability and precluding costly litigation. I advise on issues including wage-and-hour compliance, leaves, complex investigations, and reasonable accommodations. Before attending law school, I covered technology law and policy for CNET and ZDNet News. I wrote award-winning pieces about copyright and antitrust issues, social media, and the open source movement. My articles on technology policy have run in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and BusinessWeek. While in law school, I earned three Cali/Witkin (formerly AmJur) awards for the top grade in my class. I worked for a summer on free speech issues for the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
