About Lisa Auld
I’m a senior leader in athlete and human development with a unique background spanning professional sports, Division I Athletics, leadership development, and mental health.Currently, I serve at The Trust, powered by the NLFPA, where I support former and transitioning NFL players through health and wellness, career development, and long term life transition. This includes program strategy and partnership development as well as managing a team and a caseload. My work focuses on building relationships and creating programs that help high-performing individuals thrive beyond sport.Previously, I spent more than 15 years in Division I athletics, including senior leadership roles at the University of Southern California and the University of Pittsburgh, where I built and scaled comprehensive athlete development, leadership development, and career readiness initiatives. Across these roles, I partnered closely with coaches, senior administrators, campus stakeholders, and external organizations to deliver programming.In addition, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Adjunct Professor, and have served as an Organizational Development consultant, bringing a mental health informed and emotionally intelligent lens to leadership development and organizational culture. I’m certified in Sports Counseling, Emotional Intelligence Training, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Predictive Index, Huddle Up Facilitation, and The Daring Way™ curriculum by Brené Brown, and hold a certificate in Executive Leadership Coaching. Earlier in my career, I worked in athletic footwear and apparel sales and marketing with AND1 Basketball, Timberland, and Converse, experiences that continue to inform my approach to stakeholder engagement, brand alignment, and program growth.I’m especially passionate about-Leadership and career development-Experiential learning, training, and workforce pathways-Athlete development and transition-Mental health informed programming-Personal and professional growth and self discovery I enjoy collaborating with organizations committed to developing people.
