Solicits new and existing accounts to exceed sales goals and drive top line revenue through site visits, sales calls, off-site client meetings, coffee and lunch meetings, and sales presentations• Proactively prospects new client accounts by leveraging professional industry networks to include local and regional event planners, wedding and bridal organizations, charity event planners, and other community and corporate organizations• Represents the WCD at industry functions; actively involved in the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE)• Utilizes creative skills to envision innovative set-ups, space opportunities, and overall event experiences for clients• Monitors trends in the marketplace to ensure that the WCD’s services remain competitive• Works cross-collaboratively with WCD’s marketing and sales teams to assist with the promotion of contracted events and evaluate new business opportunities to ensure a full event schedule• Works closely with the catering team at Levy Restaurants, the WCD’s exclusive food service provider, to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction• Be an active member in attending fundraising, gala, non-profit events to build philanthropic relationships throughout the Southeastern Wisconsin community• Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management, to ensure the effective utilization of the company’s resources and to ensure customer satisfaction
