ABOUT LISA TURNER

A people focussed leader with over 15 years of experience in Social Housing, an industry I am immensely proud to work in. Ensuring that our residents live in affordable, safe homes that they can be proud of is my driver and I am passionate about the resident being at the heart of every decision. I am currently the Head of repairs operations, leading on damp and mould (Awaab\'s Law), legal disrepair, voids, aids and adaptations, complex repairs and repairs complaints teams across all properties and residents. I also oversee our marketplace team, where responsive repairs are delivered via the Plentific platform. Working closely with contractors, building surveyors, legal team, health and safety and Neighbourhood teams to continually drive improvements across the repairs operation, to ensure that our residents get the best possible repairs service. Anyone who works in repairs knows that it is a fast paced, often complex environment, but that is huge part of what makes me love it! I have a passion for managing change positively and have now worked through 2 large scale mergers within Peabody, so have a strong understanding of the challenges mergers can bring and how to mitigate them.I have a strong contact centre and digital management background, with 13 years experience in this area. Colleagues would describe me as a fair, open, relentlessly positive, enthusiastic, people focussed leader who loves nothing more than to solve a problem and to empower people.
