My primary role is to grow the panel of freelance linguists in line with business requirements, in terms of language and location. The role involves ensuring that all freelance linguists are reliable, skilled, trained, tested, qualified and properly vetted in line with client requirements. I am also responsible for undertaking interpreter related general administration based tasks. Key areas of responsibility include: • Ensuring only the highest quality of linguists are sourced • Sourcing linguists for new language combinations or new subject matters • Correctly vetting, security checking linguists and ensuring they are able to work in the UK (where relevant) • Improving the quality of linguist information on our database to ensure that our information is accurate • Communicating with the operational service delivery team regarding resourcing levels • Handling new linguist queries relating to the on boarding process in line with relevant policies and procedures • Progressing any strategic resourcing initiatives in line with overall business objectives
