I serve as Vice President of Operations for the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA), where I lead and continuously improve multimodal transit service delivery across the agency’s portfolio. My responsibilities include commuter rail, fixed-route bus, paratransit, microtransit, and university shuttle operations, assuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused service while driving operational efficiency and performance.I have more than 30 years of experience in the public transportation industry, with a career rooted in frontline operations and progressive leadership. Before joining DCTA, I spent 15 years at Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), most recently as Assistant Vice President of Rail Operations, where I provided executive leadership for a 90+ mile light rail system. During my tenure at DART, I also held leadership roles in bus operations, giving me a deep, system-wide understanding of multimodal transit.My leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. I am passionate about developing teams, modernizing fleets and systems, and aligning operations with long-term strategic and financial goals, always with a focus on delivering quality service to the communities we serve.
