ABOUT LISA CARACCIOLO

Lisa Siders Caracciolo is the global Head of Tax for Natura & Co, the fourth largest pure play beauty company in the world. The Company, with $10B in sales and operations in over 100 countries, is comprised of four iconic beauty brands – Avon, Natura, and The Body Shop. Each brand, unique in mission and spirit, are united by the shared purpose of shaping a better and more caring world. These brands are re-known for their commitment to life and active efforts to tackle the climate crisis, defend human rights, and protect the environment via circularity and regeneration. Lisa joined Natura & Co in 2020 as the Group Vice President of Tax, advising both the Corporate parent and its four brands. Prior to Natura & Co’s acquisition of Avon in 2020, Lisa served as the Head of Tax for Avon, with $6B in sales and operations in over 65 countries. Lisa has extensive experience in all areas of Tax including planning, transfer pricing, tax accounting, as well as in depth knowledge of in-country taxes in over 100 countries. She has worked with companies across many different industries. Lisa has deep knowledge of turnaround companies at different stages of business transformation and is adept at working through turnaround specific tax issues and partnering with all stakeholders including C-suite, boards of directors and private equity partners.Her achievements include the following:Strategic tax oversight on major business divestitures and acquisitionsIntegration of tax teams, tax technology, tax policies and strategies across multiple companiesDesign and building of new tax teams that are fit for purpose, lean and agileDesign of optimal capital structure with key stakeholders Management of key audits and areas of tax riskGeneral tax planning Lisa has led the tax function in growing and turnaround companies through corporate restructurings, finance transformation, downsizing initiatives, M&A, new market entries, market exits, supply chain transformations, bond issuances, as well as credit facility and other refinancing transactions. She has built and managed direct and indirect tax teams of various sizes ranging from 5 to 85 spread across 30+ geographies.
