Serve as a key member of the Campus Technology leadership team to provide strategic input, resources, and assistance to develop and lead departmental projects and initiatives.• Develop, promote, and execute the strategic direction and plan for the university’s IT infrastructure. • Create division project roadmap based on campus community needs, strategic university goals, as well as technology trends to take a project through concept to validation, delivery, measurement, and iteration. • Prioritize and plan work activities based on need; ensure teams use time efficiently; plan for additional resources; set goals and objectives; organize or schedule departmental employees and work study personnel and their tasks; develop realistic action plans. • Manage the budget in support of the IT infrastructure; awarded additional grant to update aging network infrastructure.• Manage complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope and time constraints; gather user requirements and maintain project documentation.• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing risks and issues.• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and issues.• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with constituents throughout campus.• Collaborate with, develop, and coach a group of dynamic IT leaders and professionals to deliver high level IT support and services to the university.• Direct day to day operations and strategic oversight of the technologies responsible for maintaining a secure and reliable data network, storage systems, and enterprise servers/services for the university. • Develop, establish, and maintain IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures.
