Children ages 8-17 thrive at Shaffer\'s High Sierra Camp in the Tahoe National Forest. Your child will have fun, make friends, build confidence, and increase his/her appreciation of nature! Our mature, caring staff provide an environment where children take another step toward happy, healthy adulthood. We were named one of Outside Magazines 5 favorite camps in the U.S! My job is to hire and train the best staff on the planet, to get the word out to parents and campers, and to stay in touch with our growing \"camp family.\" I LOVE my job!
