ABOUT LISA SEVERING
I’m a trained sociologist turned consultant in finance, driven by one mission: to bridge social insight and financial systems to create meaningful, lasting change. My work sits at the intersection of research, strategy, and advocacy; ensuring that financial services better reflect the realities and needs of diverse communities. Beyond this, I mentor professionals and teams behind the scenes, helping them elevate their skills, impact, and systemic understanding. Speaking/Science Communication: I speak and write about how (social) systems shape our lives, making systemic influences visible and actionable. My focus is on creating direct impact and engagement through science communication– inspiring audiences and equipping them with practical insights. I have had the honor of being invited to speak (among others) at JP Morgan, DWS, Audi, IOM UN and the City of Munich. MILA: I also curate and co-lead Munich International Ladies (MILA), where I help bring women from all walks of life together, foster meaningful friendships, and make Munich feel like home for both international and local women.
