Tampa, FL-based Carter Multifamily is focused on acquiring middle-market, conventional Class B and C garden-style, multifamily properties with a value-add component that are located in secondary and tertiary markets located throughout the United States. We are looking to deploy equity in the range of $10 -$50 million for one-off deals as well as portfolios.Our first fund closed March 1, 2020 after successfully raising $175 million which was deployed into $400 million of value-add multifamily properties located throughout the SE region. Fund II was launched March 15, 2020 and our strategy remains the same.
