Responsible for delivering all IT change within the Logistics and Fulfilment portfolio. Latest programme of work was to implement a brand new Digital Returns capability, providing a new UI customer experience as well as a complex integration between third party applications and Very’s systems using a combination of AWS and webhook services. Previous to that was the successful delivery of a new fulfilment centre in the East Midlands, migrating existing warehouses to a fully automated site.• Successful delivery of a 3 year, £15m tech programme delivering all Software, Network and Infrastructure for a greenfield, fully automated, state-of-the-art FC. Opened on time, to budget with no stability issues post opening• Integration of a new Order Management System (IBM Sterling) enabling Very to realise a key milestone in their Technical roadmap and start to deliver against a potential £2m p.a. benefits case• Implementation and upgrade of a Carrier Management System (DAI) to Cloud SaaS, working with Arrow XL, XDP, Yodel and Royal Mail to offer the same enhanced CMS offer to our DD B2B suppliers. • Deployment of new full network infrastructure into the new DC (BT pipelines into site, WAN, LAN, WIFI and all associated hardware) with O2, AT & T and Vodafone• Implementation of a new integrated 2-person diary booking system with ArrowXL and Indesit enabling customers to select a slot for delivery for the first time• Prioritisation of L&F change in line with business requirements• Planning and co-ordination of complex change across multiple engineering and third-party teams, utilising a team of over 40 people across permanent, contract and offshore colleagues• Management of £ multi-million budgets • Delivery of various IT and technologies changes: Network (new LAN, WAN and WIFI), Infrastructure (new 10GB BT links), Software integration (new WMS, CMS, OMS) and Hardware (desktops, laptops, cameras, TVs)• Communication and engagement with Heads of and Director sponsors
